I want to get a phone with Nextel Direct Connect capabilities but i dont want to be bound to a contract. I am thinking about choosing the i9 from Boost mobile. There is a Nextel/Sprint/AT%26amp;T tower right behind my firehouse which is right down the road from my house. Will this cover my Boost Phone? Will i get signal with a Boost Mobile phone where i will get signal with a Nextel phone?Yes, you will, assuming your boost phone can pick up the iDEN network. According to an article I just saw, the i9 IS an iDEN phone, so you should be sit.
Boost and Nextel are both owned by Sprint (Well, Sprint-Nextel)Will i get signal with a Boost Mobile phone where i will get signal with a Nextel phone?if you have verizon inpulse (prepaid) for only $20 a month you can get unlimited text, messaging, picture messaging, video messagining to anybody, any network,in the u.s.a.
