Does anyone know where pets are put on an aeroplane? Do they go on the same flight or are all pets taken on a separate cargo plane together?Where are pets stored on the aeroplane?They are on the same plane as you, in the cargo area and they carry them out to you in the baggage area upon arrival. They are in a controlled atmosphere area and will be safe, however, airlines do have restrictions for when it is too hot outside or too cold so they don't have a problem waiting to board the plane. They are stored along with the cargo in the cargo area. Now a days travel cages are also used for them. I prefer that they should be kept along with the owner so that they wont be left alone through out the entire journey
