Is it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated?

If your not working for or in a sanctuary/rehabilitation center is it wrong for people to own and keep felines such as tigers, cougars, or leopards as pets? What about people who are not professional trainers that use them as entertainment in shows? Is it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated?I worked at a zoo for 10 years and at a wildlife rehab facitlity for 12 years. Trust me when I say it is dangerous and stupid to take ANY animal from the wild and try to domesticate it. All predators are flesh eaters and even the most experienced and talented animal trainers have scars, missing digits and other horror stories. The expense of caging, permits, vet care, insurance, and food is staggering. It takes a lot more that love to properly care for a large cat. Anyone who wants a wild creature for a pet should go volunteer at an animal care facility to see how much work and expense is really involved. Is it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated?
noIs it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated? Most city ordinances wont allow this Answer is usually yes!Is it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated?
i don't know but i am telling you that you can searchIs it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated?yes it's wrong, and usually ends up with a disastrous ending for the animal.
i have a tiger jaw on my necklace and i just feel sorry for the tiger to who it belonged to once so i guess animals should be let to live in the wildIs it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated?
no way
I think it is wrong. Just because they behave with you they can get out of control and when they do they are natural hunters and therefore can do much harm to someone. I would believe that people who use these animals used for entertainment shows would be trainers to some degree or other, but still should not be kept as pets for the same reason I just stated. Is it right for people to own felines as pets that are not domesticated?
Personally I believe it is wrong to keep ANY wild animal as a pet, tame or not. These animals were meant for the wild, especially big cats, which need a LOT of special care and are often left lacking. Also they can seriously hurt their owners. Mostly they are not given enough room to function and are not given enough stimulation to keep them entertained and healthy. These animals are still wild, no matter how 'tame' they seem (look at Sigfriend and Roy, for example), and nothing can take that out of them.
