Hi, i'm in Metro Manila, and I was wondering where I can get healthy, happy hens for backyard pets. I've been doing research, and what I'd get were pages offering bantams and show chickens for sale.Most chicken breeds I've been looking at, I can't find for sale here.
I'm looking for hens that are easy to care for, with high egg productivity, and produce large eggs. Being friendly chickens that like being handled would be a plus. You might try looking online for your chickens. You can order hatching eggs, day old chicks, or even laying hens. The younger you get your birds, the more likely that they will become tame and friendly toward you. Good luck!
