I have a dog, and eventually want to own two dogs and MAYBE a horse. This may sound like a stupid question, but whatever, here goes. Is it possible to be an astronaut and still have pets of your own? I'm guessing it would be hard because you're probably off doing a lot of missions? I would obviously have someone to take care of my pets while I'm away from home. Is it possible to have pets of your own and still be an astronaut?
PS- No rude answers please! Is it possible to be an astronaut and still have pets of your own?Yes, it's just like the rest of the military. When they deploy to Afghanistan or where ever, someone has to watch their pets.
Good luck getting into NASA though, it's tough. Is it possible to be an astronaut and still have pets of your own?

They have husbands or wives, children, take out garbage, pay bills, have pets, take dumps etcIs it possible to be an astronaut and still have pets of your own?
The astronauts have a family to take care of their pets while they're on a mission. Is it possible to be an astronaut and still have pets of your own?Why not? The are other folks with even more dangerous jobs who have pets.
