But there is a huge difference between rabbits and dogs. the better one to take care of is the one you enjoy most.

rabbits can be left in a cage for the whole of their life. Dogs need to be walked and exercise.

This really all depends on you and your commitmentsWhat is better to take care of as pets : Dogs or Rabbits?
Dogs! Hands down! Rabbits are cute n cuddly, but for the most part are pretty boring as far as pets go. (and they poop alotttt.) If cost is an issue, there are many places to get dogs for nothing or for very cheap, such as the dog pound or by checking your local papers. Lots of times people have puppies to give away. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

I think they could be friends, especially if they are raised together. I've had and seen many 'odd couples' as far as animals go.What is better to take care of as pets : Dogs or Rabbits?Kristy is right if it is a cost thing bunnies are cheaper namely:

Fewer Vet visits and they don't need a bath every other week.

Dogs can come in the house and live but then again a bunny can to "watch electriacl wires" bunnies love the insulation on the wires. What is better to take care of as pets : Dogs or Rabbits?
my personal choice would be a rabbit, rabbits don't bark and only cost about 20 pound compared to a dog about 100 pound, but you could get both for free from a rescue centreWhat is better to take care of as pets : Dogs or Rabbits?Hi Bon,

I know nothing about rabbits, but you asked in your other post if you could contact me about medical questions. I'm happy to, but you have email disabled and I don't want to post my email address publicly. Just go to my Profile page and email me through that (and include your email addy if you have a lot of questions--Answers limits the length of responses).
