If I travelled back in time to when GSM digital mobile phones were first introduced (I believe 1992?). Would a current phone e.g. an iPhone or any current model work on the digital network?
Only for voice and texting, nothing more elaborate. I imagine it would have to be registered on the network by the operator, and this might involve jumping through some hoops. Or is there something that would prevent it from working in that era ?Would a current mobile phone work in 1992 ?yes technology would stop you using as as transmitters could not let you communicate
and anyway who else would have a phone then anyway to talk to
