How do you set up an account on YouTube if you don't have a mobile phone service?

Its asking to send the code to my mobile phone but i dont have one anymore..Is that the only way you can get a YouTube account?!How do you set up an account on YouTube if you don't have a mobile phone service?Sort of.

You can use a friends phone number,

and ask them to give you the code they send you.



But also, when it asked me for a phone number, I just canceled out of it.

And then a couple days later, I tried again and it didn't ask me for one.

So I don't know, just keep trying.
