What pay as you go phone service is better Virgin Mobile, Net 10, or Boost Mobile?

I just bought Virgin Mobile phone today to use as pay as you go service, but before I open it I thought i should check out for sure this is the best service plan.

I want to cheap and no contract but best possible service. $50 a month is my limit.

Thanks! What pay as you go phone service is better Virgin Mobile, Net 10, or Boost Mobile?Net10. 10 cent rate all the time. Texts 5 cent. Almost no web.Limited selection of phones. Good deal if you are not a heavy user . Oh yeah, international calls to 60 countries for 5 cents more a minute.GREAT coverage. Sims can never be used in other phones but the one it came with. Lousy customer service. Phones are on sell most of the time with free 300 minutes coming with it. Minutes last 60 days before they expire as long as you topup before that time.

Their unlimited plan is $80 for talk /text a month, requires a credit card and has less coverage then their regular plan does. In other words it's a ripoff.

Virgin Mobile. 20 cent per minute. 15 cent per text . If you buy $20 card and use it only for voice minutes, it should be 10 cents a minute. Texts stay the same. It is cheaper on VM if you buy plans but they have no rollover. . Bigger cards make minutes cheaper. $30 card it is 8 cents. $50 card, 5 cents. But they only have a 30 expiration.

Lousy customer service. Cheap phones. Avoid Kyoceras. Never use credit/debit card/paypal. They will overcharge.

Their unlimited talk plan is $50 only for unlimited talk. No text or web is included. On VM, MAKE sure you have money for taxes or you won't get what you ordered. Good unlimited texter delight plan. Unlimited text/pic/vid/im/email for 19.99 PLUS TAX and minutes are 10 cents as used.

Boost Mobile. Home of the walkie talkie. Crummy customer service.

Great value on Unlimited plan buy your mileage may vary. Some parts of the country still report slow/unreliable texting and dropped /calls not going through . Limited but growing phone selection.

Pay go plan is 10 cents a minute/texts are 10 cents. Sim can be used in any Nextel phone including Blackberries (with possible limitations).

There is another service called Page Plus. Runs on Verizon (better network then VM or Boost), can use any Verizon/Alltel phone (better phone selection then all 3 of the ones above), offers an unlimited talk/text/20 megs web for 39.95 /no tax (cheaper then any of the above) and has good customer serivce. Right now though, they are a bit overwhelmed with the huge influx of new customers because of the unlimited plan. Expect a temporary dilution in customer service for now. A lot of busy calls. This should stabilize in the near future. Boost mobile went through the same thing when they had their unlimited plan come out in Jan. www.pagepluscellular.com

If you still choose one of the above three, at least use Embee Mobile Wallet App by Facebook. If you take surveys, you earn free Embee minutes which you can redeem for airtime credit at VM, Boost, Net10 and17 other prepaid carriers. (But not Page Plus). Get another FB account and email to cut down on possible spam. You can earn as much and as fast Embee minutes as you want. VM also has their kickbacks promo which can earn you up to 6000 free minutes a year.

If you end up using Embee, please tell your friends on prepaid about it.
